Cha das Caldeiras

A must for all visitors to Fogo: the volcanic plateau (about 2000m high) and the volcano itself (2829m). Going up it's a 3-4 hours hike, coming down it takes a bit more than 1 hour sliding and jumping on the lava-covered slope. more…
